Swakopmund

Swakopmund is like and über-Lüderitz.  It revels in its German heritage like no other place I’ve been.  I hate to say it, but the absolutely best schnitzel I’ve had in my life was in Swak.   I mean, really- how obsessed with your heritage to you have to be to make schnitzel that good?  Beyond that, it’s a pleasant sea-side town with tonnes of things to do and such.

But, that’s it- it’s not worth much of a post.  I rode there and then I rode away.  The ride there from Windhoek was fun, but ride after is what I want to write about.
