Whats for dinner?

Lets say I didn’t have my break down and everything was going as planned.  In this mystical world, what dinner would I have had instead of the lavish feast I was able to assemble from my panniers?

Well, truth is, it might not have been much different…

In northeastern Angola, there is a decent selection of fruit, vegetables, and meats- but these are usually sold in bulk, or at least in quantities that are difficult for one person without refrigeration to deal with.  Once you get out of the cities or good size towns, prepared food choices also become limited to what traditional food the locals enjoy…

Ah, yeah…  I think I’ll stick to canned tuna for now thanks…
