It’s the little differences.

One of the real joys of travel is trying local foods and tasting the flavours of various cultures cuisine.  Skipping along behind that is the fun of seeing how foods and flavours that are common at home are adapted to local tastes.

Watching someone slather ketchup and mayonnaise on a slice of pizza just never gets old.  Also, seeing what kind flavours they add to potato chips is almost always good for a chuckle.  I’m not talking paprika chips or some other slightly different take on the usual, I’m talking…

This wasn’t lemon pepper or anything- this was full on citrusy lemon flavoured chips.  And they were hideous, just the most terrible tasting chips I had ever had in my life.

Wonderful, just wonderful!
