My bike after delivery to the dealer. Still clean, scratch free, and waiting to hit the road…
What the bike got instead of hitting the road…
Ah, riding season finally starts!!
In the morning after getting to Waterton National Park. This was the best weather I had for the next few days. From here I headed up through Crowsnest Pass and on to Kelowna.
The weather finally turns while heading to Powell River. It’s hard to get impatient waiting for a ferry with this scenery.
The relaxing ferry trip.
Lund, mile zero of highway 101 that ends down in Chili.
The views from my campsite in Powell River.
The fantastic riding road to Tofino on Vancouver Island. It gets little rough in places, but was fairly empty with great views and sweeping turns.
Leaving Victoria for The U.S.A.
Once again, the camping and riding were fantastic. The Pacific Coast Highway is truely a gem.
Riding The Avenue of Giants was beautiful. Great road, tight turns, and towering trees- just perfect.
Meeting some smart Canadians wasn’t bad either. This couple winter their bikes in Las Vegas so they can fly down for a ride even when Alberta is a couple of feet deep in snow.
Riding through San Francisco, to Yosemite, to Death Valley was, well, a ride! Towering urban landscape to towering natural one- just great.
Of course, Death Valley had some great camping… and some challenging riding!
